This 16" Traditional Wood Surdo replaces the aluminum with a wooden shell for a warmer, more soulful sound profile that's defined by full, rounded bass notes, the same which sit at the heart of traditional Samba music. With 8 tuning lugs and height adjustable legs, this surdo is perfect for stationary playing, whether it's on stage or in a drum circle. This models comes with two head options and a tuning key
